Image Line Software has released Hardcore (Mac/Win; $79), a new collection of stompbox-style guitar effects.

Hardcore offers the following ten stompbox simulations: Distortion, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Reverb, Delay, Noise Gate, Equalizer, Compression, and Modulator. According to the manufacturer, you can arrange five simulations, in any oder, on the Hardcore pedal board and the output will then pass through an 8-band graphic EQ and Cabinet Simulator.

This effects collection supports FL Studio plug-in, AU, and VSTi 2.4 formats. Through the end of October, 2008, every order of Image Line Software products comes with a free copy of Hardcore. For more information, please visit image-line.com.
