Garritan has released new versions of its Personal Orchestra ($199) and Jazz & Big Band ($249) libraries, which ship with Kontakt Player 2 from Native Instruments and are Intel Mac and Universal Binary compatible. The libraries continue to run as a standalone and VST, DXi, AU, DX, and RTAS plug-in formats, so they work with all sequencers, DAWs, and supported notation programs. The updated versions are also optimized and programmed for integration with MakeMusic Finale 2008 and Sibelius Software Sibelius 5.

The new versions are available as a free downloadable update to all registered users of previous versions of Personal Orchestra and Jazz & Big Band.
