Software manufacturers continue adding support for Frontier Design Group's AlphaTrack DAW controller. Now you can use AlphaTrack with Mackie Tracktion 3 and with Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro 3. With the AlphaTrack’s touch-sensitive jog/shuttle strip, LCD display, three touch-sensitive encoder knobs, transport buttons, user-definable buttons, and 100 mm touch-sensitive fader, you have all the tools to control Tracktion 3 and Guitar Tracks Pro 3.

The AlphaTrack also works with MOTU Digital Performer, Adobe Audition 2, Apple Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro, Steinberg Nuendo and Cubase (SX/SL, Cubase 4, Studio 4), Cakewalk Sonar, Propellerhead Reason, and Digidesign Pro Tools.

Frontier has also announced that several new AlphaTrack accessories, such as padded gig bags and alternate knob sets, are available now. Check out the company's online store for more information.

Lastly, Frontier has divulged that Ardour 2 now supports the TranzPort wireless remote controller in Linux systems.
