Squier-brand Hello Kitty instruments include the Squier Affinity Stratocaster (available in pink or black finishes, with a custom Hello Kitty pickguard), and a special black-finish Squire Bass featuring Hello Kitty's sidekick Badtz Maru. The Hello Kitty guitars include a single bridge-position humbucker pickup, a 1960s-style large headstock, a maple neck with pink inlaid fret markers, and a Hello Kitty logo on the back of the guitar.

Fender also plans to create a line of co-branded accessories including Hello Kitty guitar picks, straps, soft cases, and a portable battery powered Hello Kitty amplifier. The Hello Kitty guitars range in price from $200 to $300 and are shipping now.

For the high-end musician, Fender's Custom Shop will also produce a special, limited run of Hello Kitty custom guitars for discerning Hello Kitty collectors, as well as musicians who realize the collectability of these one-of-a-kind instruments. These guitars will incorporate classic Hello Kitty design elements on a custom-built body, featuring any elements the musician desires. These unique guitars can be built in a variety of ways with the price-point determined by the design and materials utilized.
