Now shipping is EnhancedAudio.com's DC Seven (Windows; $199 list, $159 download), a tool that allows you to restore and enhance audio. According to the manufacturer, this new high-definition restoration tool removes a significant amount of noise from old vinyl and tape recordings.

DC Seven features a narrow crackle filter, artifact suppression in the continuous noise filter, High Noise mode, a virtual phono preamp, and EZ Enhancer, which combines a simple EQ, exciter, and level adjuster for quick enhancement jobs. In addition, DC Seven offers the DC Tune Library, a music database that allows you to access, arrange, list, and store an entire music collection.
