As of September 2007, Elysia’s mpressor—a new tool for creative dynamics processing—will be available. Besides classic tracking applications, its favorite domains are groovy effect compression and creative sound design.
According to the manufacturer, one popular customer already existed before the official start of production, as Tom Rowlands from the Chemical Brothers did not want to wait that long and bought the pre-series prototype without further ado. Elysia’s new creative compressor will be presented in booth 162 at the AES show in New York from October 5 to 8, 2007.
