The Digital Music Doctor has announced that four of its pro-audio interactive video courses are available as downloads. Previously available on CD-ROM, each of these courses (Cakewalk Sonar 4, Steinberg Cubase SX 3, Sony Acid Pro 5, and Sony Sound Forge 8) are packaged as two large files (100 to 200 MB), which require 10 to 20 minutes to download with an Internet connection speed of 1.5 megabits per second.

Each course contains approximately two hours of interactive video instruction as well as examples of music and audio projects created using the software that is being taught in the course. The video content uses the compression techniques of Macromedia Flash and the resulting file sizes are typically about one-fifth that of other videos which use non-compressed formats. Additional information about the courses is available at the Digital Music Doctor web site.
