Cakewalk has released six Digital Sound Factory E-mu Proteus sound modules ($79 each) for Dimension Pro and Dimension LE.

The hardware E-mu Proteus sound modules sampled for this software release are the Mo'Phatt, the Proteus 2000, the Xtreme Lead-1, the Virtuoso 2000, the PX-7 Drum Collection, and Planet Earth. In all, the E-mu Proteus Sound Modules offer over 3,500 sound programs, and even more when combined with Dimension. Each module has more than 500 patches, and customers get an extra 500 after registration of the products.

For a limited time, you can get a free download of Dimension LE for Mac or PC by registering one or more sound module after purchase. The Digital Sound Factory E-mu Proteus sound modules are available individually or all together in the E-mu Proteus Pack ($299).

Check Cakewalk's Web site for full descriptions of each sound module.
