ATH M50 headphones with pouch and cable

Audio-Technica has introduced a straight-cable version of its ATH-M50 professional studio monitor headphones ($199). The new ATH-M50s, which are of the same quality of the original coiled-cable headphones, were created for users who prefer straight-cable professional studio headphones for tracking and other applications.

These ATH-M50s have a single-sided 11-foot straight cable terminating to a 3.5 mm stereo connector with screw-on 1/4-inch adapter. The collapsible headphones also feature proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers with neodymium magnet systems and CCAW voice coils, high SPL capabilities, a closed-back cushioned earcup, earpieces that swivel 180 degrees for one-ear monitoring, a lightweight and adjustable cushioned headband, and much more.
