IK Multimedia and Notion Music have announced AmpliTube 2 Duo (Mac/Win), a special version of AmpliTube 2 guitar amp and effects software that automatically installs with new copies of Progression guitar composition software. AmpliTube 2 Duo with Progression allows guitarists to create their own guitar sounds and play, score, and practice them within a notation application.
AmpliTube 2 Duo features 4 modules (tuner, stomp, amp, cabinet, and microphone); 2 preamp, 2 EQ, 2 power-amp, 2 cabinet, 2 microphone, and 2 stomp effect (wah and overdrive, plus spring reverb and gate) models; and 16 amp combinations. In addition, it has 2 guitar rig chains, 30 presets, and a high-precision tuner. AmpliTube 2 Duo is available as a plug-in and as a standalone version with SpeedTrainer.
