The Zoom G2 is a multieffects pedal combining amp modeling, effects, and a built-in drum machine. It offers 54 types of effects from nine effects modules, including dynamics, ambience, drive, and modulation. The unit comes with 40 effects patches, and user memory for 40 more patches. The pedal features 32-bit processing and 24-bit converters running at a 96 kHz sampling rate.
The amp models include a '65 Fender Twin Reverb, a Marshall JCM2000, a Roland Jazz Chorus, and a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier. The built-in drum machine has 40 rhythm variations, and the tempo can be set using the tap-tempo button or an optional footswitch.
