Wave Arts has announced Power Suite 5 (Mac/Win), which includes updates to TrackPlug, MultiDynamics, MasterVerb, FinalPlug, and Panorama. In the meantime, Wave Arts is offering savings on the existing version 4 plug-ins, which includes the option to upgrade to version 5 when available.

The first plug-in available from the bundle is MultiDynamics 5 (Mac/Win; $174.95), a multi-band dynamics processor designed for mastering, noise reduction, volume maximization, and sound design. MultiDynamics provides up to 6 independent bands with independent compression or expansion/gating per band. The plug-in, which supports 192 kHz files, features 18 dB/octave and 30 dB/octave crossovers. According to Wave Arts, the proprietary crossover filter network eliminates amplitude distortion between bands. Also included are bypass, solo, and mute controls on each band.

Wave Arts plug-ins are available for Windows (DX, VST, RTAS) and Mac OS X (AU, VST, MAS, RTAS). For more information, including upgrade information and free demos, visit WaveArts.com.
