SoundBlade 1.1 (Mac; $1,495), the latest workstation from Sonic Studio, is out now. Version 1.1 offers premastering, signal-processing, restoration, recording, and editing functionality, as well as a variety of new features and improved stability.

SoundBlade 1.1 uses Core Audio for default I/O and employs Sonic Studio's EFM and four-point editing along with the company's SSE real-time audio engine. In addition to support for Sonic Studio's NoNoise II and Renovator, the SoundBlade 1.1 bundles iZotope Vive for increased restoration functionality. The workstation also supports AU and VST plug-ins.
