Roland is now shipping the CD-2 CD/CF Recorder, which lets you record and burn CDs or record to CompactFlash media. Once recorded, the audio can be edited, processed, and burned to CD within the CD-2 itself. The device supports up to 2 GB CompactFlash cards.

The CD-2 includes a built-in stereo microphone, two phantom powered XLR inputs, RCA line inputs and outputs, and a 1/4-inch input for use with instruments. Other useful features include built-in stereo speakers, speed and pitch controls, a tuner, and a metronome.
