Propellerhead Software is shipping FlatPack 2, a Refill for Reason 3 (Mac/Win) that is built around four new instrument concepts constructed using Reason Combinators. Scope is a family of Combinators for generating soundscapes, pads, and textures. One hundred Scope presets are provided in the FlatPack 2 refill, each of which can be customized. Each basic Scope contains two elements from the FlatPack 2 library, and a crossfader allows you to blend the sounds while using other controls to determine how the sounds evolve and interact.

Kilburn is the framework for re-creating classic synths, and Boxmoor is a Combinator-based drum machine. Rex Dex is a group of Rex-based loop players. Lapjockey produced a collection of new loops to use with this Combi.

In addition to these main areas, there are many new effects devices built using Combinator that make up the FP2 Outboard collection. Click here to check out the free samples of FlatPack 2. More details are available from the Propellerhead Web site.
