Cakewalk has released the second round in the series of Expansion Packs for Rapture and Dimension Pro synthesizers (Mac/Win). Series 1 and Series 2 Expansion Packs for Rapture and Dimension Pro are available now as free downloads to registered Rapture and Dimension Pro customers.
Rapture Expansion Pack 2 features 350 new professional sound programs which expand the factory sound set with new basses, drums, keys, leads, film textures and sound effects, micropiano, pads, sequences, and sweeps. It also includes 140 MB of new wavetables and multisamples, and sample content by Nucleus Labs.
Dimension Pro Expansion Pack 2 also has 350 new professional sound programs, but unlike Rapture's sound programs, these ones expand the factory sound set with new digital and FM sounds, dimensions, drums, electric pianos, drum and bass breaks, hip hop breaks, guitars, leads and keys, orchestral sounds, organs, real and synth basses, reeds and brass, sweeps, analog, and pads. Also included is 120 MB of new multisamples.
