McDSP Offers Classic Pack

McDSP is offering Classic Pack (Mac/Win $1,395), a bundle with four of its Pro Tools TDM (RTAS/AudioSuite) plug-ins: Analog Channel, CompressorBank, FilterBank, and MC2000. According to McDSP, Analog Channel reproduces the sounds of high-end analog tape machines, analog tape, and analog amplifiers. CompressorBank offers multiple peak detection circuits, pre-filtering, static/dynamic EQ, and compression curve modeling.

FilterBank can emulate tube or solid-state EQs and offers Peak, Slope, and Dip controls as well as variable Q modes. The MC2000 is a multi-band compressor plug-In designed to emulate the sounds of vintage and modern compressors in 2-, 3-, and 4- band configurations.

In addition to the four plug-ins, the McDSP Classic Pack also includes a 194-page printed manual and a pre-programmed McDSP Green iLok. The McDSP Classic Pack is ready to plug and play right out of the box.

Users who already own two of the four Classic Pack plug-ins can get the remaining two products for $695. Users owning three of the four plug-ins in the McDSP Classic Pack can get the remaining one for $295. This Upgrade program will be administered through McDSP directly as well as participating McDSP dealers. The upgrades are only available until August 31, 2005, and the upgrade delivery is made via ilok.com accounts. The expected date of availability is May 9, 2005.
