This spring, Kurzweil will have two new items to add to your arsenal of keys: the PC3 keyboard controller and the SP2 digital stage piano.

The 88-note, weighted PC3 workstation features 128-note polyphony, a 16-track sequencer, and 4 independent arpeggiators, as well as an array of presets and real-time controller functions. In addition to Kurzweil's Triple Strike Grand Piano and a collection of vintage keyboard emulations, the PC3 packs more than 250 orchestral and string programs and an array of bass, drum, guitar, and synth sounds. Rounding out the unit are nine sliders/drawbar controllers, an angled display, a new keyboard action, and a Flash-card port. The PC3 is compatible with USB.

Also packaged with the Triple Strike Grand Piano and 88-note weighted action is the SP2, which sports 64-note polyphony, 64 presets, and effects. The unit features a USB port, and its four assignable knobs offer functionality as a MIDI controller.

Both the PC3 and the SP2 will be available in spring 2007.
