Korg has announced the Pa800 ($3,400), a new arranger keyboard with TC-Helicon-based vocal effects, real-time performance features, and a stereo two-way speaker system. The Pa800 features 61 keys with Velocity and Aftertouch, and access to about a thousand different music styles, each style offering parts for drums, percussion, and bass. Each style also offers three introductions, four variations, three fills, and two endings.

The Pa800's TouchView screen has two interface modes, Easy and Expert. Easy mode uses graphics to display common performance controls, while Expert mode offers full editing control.

Other features include 320 performance settings, step-entry, an XDS dual sequencer (compatible with standard SMF or karaoke files), a crossfader, a searchable songbook, and a jukebox. The Pa800 also has a built-in 64 MB sampler, front and rear USB jacks, an optional internal 2.5-inch hard drive, 4 audio outputs, and 2 balanced/unbalanced mic/line audio inputs.

Learn more about the Pa800 at Korg's Web site.
