The Digital Music Doctor has released two new new interactive courses: Sonar 4—Know It All! and Cubase SX 3—Know It All!. The Sonar 4—Know It All! course contains fifteen modules, organized into four sections. The overview, which covers elements common to MIDI and audio, provides an introduction to Sonar projects as well as recording, editing, and mixing using Sonar 4 Producer Edition. The in-depth sections use actual projects, and the Advanced Topics section covers loop composition, drum-map editing, surround sound mixing, the use of soft synths, and System Exclusive commands.

Cubase SX 3—Know It All! is set up in a similar fashion, with fifteen modules, and is organized into four sections, including in-depth and advanced tutorials. The advanced section covers two prominent new features of Cubase SX 3 -- Audio Warp and Play Order Tracks -- as well as surround mixing, score layouts, and VST instruments.

SONAR 4—Know It All! is presented using Macromedia Flash and requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later. The examples used in the tutorials require Cakewalk Sonar 4.0 Producer Edition or later.

Cubase SX 3—Know It All! is presented using Macromedia Flash and is available on CD-ROM for Windows 2000 and XP as well as Mac OS X 10.3. For more information, visit www.digitalmusicdoctor.com.
