DigiTech has begun a search for the ultimate original song with the DigiTech Guitar Workstation Songwriting Contest. The event, which offers $35,000 in prizes, is open to users of DigiTech's GNX3, GNX4, and GNX3000 Guitar Workstations and will be judged by Mark Hudson, songwriter and producer for Ozzy Osbourne, Ringo Starr, and Aerosmith.
To enter, record you best original song on a DigiTech Guitar Workstation and submit it by September 30, 2005. Winners will be announced on November 30, 2005. All contest administration and hosting is being handled by Broadjam. Click here for rules and submission details.
The list of prizes includes 1st Prize: $20,000 worth of gear from DigiTech, Lexicon, dbx, Crown, Soundcraft, JBL Pro, AKG, BSS, and Broadjam, as well as a trip to LA and dinner with producer/judge Mark Hudson, who will pitch the winning song to record label executives.
2nd Prize: $10,000 worth of gear from DigiTech, Lexicon, dbx, Crown, Soundcraft, JBL Pro, AKG, BSS, and Broadjam.
3rd Prize: $5,000 worth of gear from DigiTech, Lexicon, dbx, Crown, Soundcraft, JBL Pro, AKG, BSS, and Broadjam.
