DigiTech's RP250

DigiTech is shipping the RP250 and the RP150, its newest modeling guitar processors in the RP Series.

The RP250 offers 60 user and 60 factory presets accessed by up/down footswitches; 89 models total (54 effects models, 21 amp/preamp and acoustic guitar models, and 14 speaker cabinets); and real-time control provided by 2 footswitches, 4 buttons, 4 encoders, and an expression pedal.

The RP150 offers 50 user and 50 factory presets accessed by up/down footswitches; and 77 models total (48 effects models, 17 amp/preamp and acoustic models, and 12 speaker cabinet models).

Both modeling guitar processors feature the AudioDNA2 DSP chip; a built-in drum machine with 60 programmed patterns and drum kit sounds; a chromatic tuner with drop-tuning options; USB connectivity; and preset editing via the downloadable X-Edit editor librarian (Mac/Win).
