DigiTech has announced the GNX3000 Guitar Workstation, a modeling guitar-effects processor that includes a USB interface, 1/4-inch and XLR outputs, and the company's Component-Based Modeling technology.
The GNX3000 includes amp, cabinet, and effects sections. The amp models are based on classics such as the 1965 Fender Twin Reverb, the 1957 Fender Tweed Deluxe, the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier, the Vox AC30 Top Boost, the Marshall JCM900, the 1959 Fender Tweed Bassman, and the Ampeg SVT among others. The models can be warped together to form a customized rig with DigiTech’s proprietary GeNetX processing technology.
Blend in sounds based on classic stomp boxes, including the Ibanez TS-9, the Arbiter FuzzFace, the Boss DS-1, the DigiTech Grunge, the VooDoo Labs Sparkle Drive, and the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi, among others. The effects include Whammy, Wah, Pickup Modeling, Intelligent Pitch Shifting, Chorusing, Flanging, Phasing, Tremelo [sic], Noise Gate, and various delays and reverbs.
The GNX3000 comes bundled with ProTracks Plus (Mac/Win) software, allowing you to stream four channels of 24-bit audio to the computer while playing two channels back. X-Edit Editor/Librarian software is also included.
The unit offers a phantom-powered dbx microphone preamp and over 80 drum patterns are available at the touch of a footswitch. For more information, visit Digitech.com.
