Audioナle Engineering has announced Sample Manager 2.1 (Mac; $69), a batch processor that now supports Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), implements AppleScript, and supports Automator with 28 actions. The software also includes a Spotlight-based file-search feature, support for オLaw (as well as AIFF, WAV, Sound Designer, Acid, and Apple Loop) files, and partial support for ReCycle files.

According to Audioナle Engineering, Sample Manager 2.1 can handle any sample rate or bit depth, interleaved and split-channel files, and it supports any number of channels. The program includes an Export to MP3 function.

The batch processes include Change Gain, Fade, Trim, Reverse, Convert, Split, Mix, and Join. Files are sortable by any parameter and the program offers a detailed waveform view of the selected sample as full wave, rectified, or averaged. Sample Manager 2.1 is Optimized for Mac G4 and G5 with AltiVec. For more information, visit Audiofile-Engineering.com.
