Roland is shipping its new ARX-01 and ARX-02 expansion boards for the Fantom-G series of instruments with ARX expansion-board slots. Both boards are synthesizers with their own processor, graphics, and DSP.

The ARX-01 Drums Expansion Board features a SuperNatural-powered voice engine, which lets you control the elements of each drum, such as shell depth and muffling. The drums can be further refined with the built-in compressor/EQ, reverb, multi-effects, and an onboard mixer for adjusting the volume and pan position.

The ARX-02 Electric Piano Expansion Board adds expression and realism to performances, with smooth volume and tone changes. It also allows you to change the position of the pickup and choose from five amp models with dynamic control.
