photo of VTape plug-ins

VirSyn has updated VTape (Mac/Win), the Analog Tape Suite, to version 1.1.0. This version adds a new plug-in called Flanger, which simulates the playback of two tape machines running at slightly different speeds and offers a stereo flanging mode. Furthermore, VTape 1.1 features RTAS and AU mono versions of Saturator, as well as a 1.1 update for the Delay plug-in.

This version also offers a number of bug fixes: latency compensation works now, the "Kill" parameter is automatable, the Save button no longer requires the Enter key, the GUI problem in AU versions has been fixed, automation with Saturator now works in RTAS versions, and much more.

More information and sound samples for VTape are available here.
