IK Multimedia and Muse Research have announced the Total Workstation Rack, a combination of Muse Research’s Receptor hardware plug-in player with IK Multimedia's Total Workstation line of “Powered By SampleTank” instruments. All of the instruments (SampleTank 2.5, Sonik Synth 2, Miroslav Philharmonik, SampleMoog, and SampleTron) come pre-installed and authorized within Receptor.

The Total Workstation Rack includes all the sounds and instruments you need to begin making music—acoustic grand pianos, electric pianos, strings, brass, winds, vocals, organs, percussion, drums, basses, guitars, synths, loops, ethnic samples, and more. You also get an orchestral sound set and a collection of rare vintage keyboards and synths. All of these sounds can be edited and saved using a MIDI program change message from your keyboard or controller.
