Digidesign is shipping Eleven, the new guitar amp emulation plug-in for Pro Tools, Avid, and Venue systems. The plug-in emulates the sounds of amplifier and speaker cabinet designs from makers such as Vox, Fender, Marshall, Mesa/Boogie, and Soldano. Though it comes with preloaded amp model configurations, it also allows for independent selection and bypass.

There are two versions of Eleven: Eleven ($595) and Eleven LE ($395). Eleven supports TDM, RTAS, and AudioSuite plug-in formats for use with Pro Tools|HD, Icon, and Venue systems; and Eleven LE supports RTAS and AudioSuite plug-in formats for use with Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools M-Powered systems.
