Blue Cat Audio Updates Blue Cat's Parametr'EQ Series

Blue Cat Audio has released version 3.3 updates for Blue Cat's Parametr'EQ Series of analog/digital EQ plug-ins (Windows). Free for version 3.0 customers, the version 3.3 update provides a number of performance enhancements and bug fixes.

The Parametr'EQ Series plug-ins (Parametr'EQ, Stereo Parametr'EQ, and Widening Parametr'EQ) have nonlinear modeling capabilities and thus provide analog compression and distortion at every EQ stage. The plug-ins can produce a range of spectral effects, from transparent digital equalization to smooth frequency-controlled distortion, and the output stage includes a brickwall limiter for more dynamics control.

The update provides faster skin loading, enhanced user interfaces, and better parameter display in host applications and settings windows. Also, the installer now registers the VST plug-in automatically, in order to avoid registration issues in some host applications.

All three of the plug-ins in the Parametr'EQ Series are available individually or within the Parametr'EQ Pack Bundle. They are also available in Blue Cat's Master Pack Mastering Bundle.
