Blue Cat Audio has unleashed version 2.0 of Gain Suite, a freeware gain-adjustment plug-in package for Windows that includes a mono, a stereo, and a mid-side DirectX and VST plug-in.
According to the manufacturer, the new version allows you to link several instances together to achieve complex mixing and gain adjustment tasks within a digital audio workstation. It also offers features such as undo/redo; smooth bypass for activating and deactivating the plug-in with no noise; import/export presets; and window opacity management. Moreover, the plug-ins can be automated and controlled by MIDI with advanced response-curve settings.
The plug-in package can be downloaded separately or within Blue Cat's Freeware Pack Bundle together with all Blue Cat Audio freeware plug-ins.
