Solid State Logic is shipping Pro-Convert ($699), a digital audio project translator application that allows users to move sessions from one digital audio workstation to another.

Pro-Convert software was designed to make it easier and faster to move projects between producers or facilities where different DAWs are in use. Pro Convert is compatible with more than 40 different applications and is capable of converting to and from Pro Tools 7.x. The software features the Audio Tool audio file format batch converter, a frame-accurate offset feature, "housekeeping" features for cleaning up projects, a fade curve translation control, pan and volume automation curve conversion, track markers and PQ data, search and replace functions, and quick offline conversion.

Pro-Convert will be available for purchase at the SSL Web shop in February, 2008. Full details about Pro-Convert are available at www.solid-state-logic.com.
