IK Multimedia is shipping the ARC System (Advanced Room Correction System) (Mac/Win; $699), which is comprised of a calibrated 1/4-inch measurement condenser microphone, measuring software, and a plug-in that corrects distortion caused by room acoustics. The plug-in (in VST, RTAS, and AU formats) is compatible with most DAWs, including Digidesign Pro Tools, Steinberg Cubase, Apple Logic, Cakewalk Sonar, Ableton Live, and more.

With Audyssey’s MultEQ technology, the ARC corrects frequency and phase response for multiple points in the room. According to IK Multimedia, the ARC also removes low-end alterations, restores tonal balances, and makes your mixes sound more consistent.

A crossgrade version of the ARC System is available for registered IK Multimedia users for $499. Learn more at www.ikmultimedia.com/arc.
