Avlex Bardl P mixer

Avlex Corporation has announced its new Bardl P Series audio mixers. The P80U ($379) comes in an 8-channel configuration, while the P120U ($439) mixer comes in a 12-channel configuration. Both offer USB and S/PDIF digital connectivity, and no drivers are required to connect the mixers to a computer; just plug and play.

Furthermore, the P Series mixers provide switchable mic/line inputs (4 on the 8-channel P80U and 8 on the 12-channel P120U), and dual stereo inputs for playback from CD players and other stereo sources. The primary input channels have 3-band shelving EQ, with a contour control for Groups 1, 2, and the Main L-R stereo bus. The mixers have separate headphone level control, direct output control for recording, dual bus outputs, and 3 AUX outputs.

The Bardl P Series mixers also provide 48V phantom power for use with condenser microphones, as well as visual feedback from the 4-segment LED indicators for the Main/Group outputs.
