Sage Electronics has announced D.I. Joe, a single-channel active DI box. The hand-wired D.I. Joe features a discrete active Class A input, a frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 KHz (+/-1 db @ 1 KHz), a load driving capability of 600 ohm or greater, a ground-lift switch, and a 3-year warranty.

The D.I. Joe has a dual 9V battery supply, which the manufacturer says offers superior signal headroom. The suggested list price is $239 Canadian (US $179) and it is available directly from the manufacturer. (http://www.sageelectronics.com)
